*What was the factor that made you decide to begin competing?
I promised my friend Carlos that I would enter a contest so he would not be the only "first timer".
.
*Why did you become an ABA/INBA competitor?
The owner of the gym where I work our is Hank Diaz, the promoter of the Copper Classic. I have a great
respect for Hank, so I felt that any organization Hank belonged to must be a good one. As it turns out
my feelings was correct.
.
*What do you like most about the ABA/INBA?
The integrity to follow through on testing. It keeps everyone on the same playing field.
.
*What is your nutrition plan?
Off season I consume 15 calories per pound of desired bodyweight with 1.5 grams of protein per pound
and one cheat day every seven. Preparing for a show I drop calorie intake to 10 calories per
pound and absolutely no cheat day.
.
*What supplements do you feel are necessary?
I feel protein supplements are necessary to offset the amounts of whole food a bodybuilder
would need to consume to get enough protein. A good multi-vitamin and BCAA's.
.
*If there is one thing you could pass on to persons reading this, what would it be?
Discipline and hard work will pay off. Take the word "CAN'T" out of your vocabulary.
Stay motivated and stay natural.
*What is a fun fact about you?
I drive a Kia Soul and I have a stuffed hamster (not a real one), that my wife gave me on the dash.

They are promoting and representing the natural athlete fairly.
