KIDS FITNESS & TEENAGE FITNESS
Performance Criteria Boys & Girls Kids (6-8yrs), (9-12) Teens (13-17yrs)
Our goal, is to provide a forum for boys and girls to get a positive introduction into fitness, and to allow them to show case their talents on a public stage.
Please make sure that costumes are picked tastefully. All outfits must completely cover all private areas.
The judging will be conducted in three equal rounds. Each competitor in the class will be given a point score.
Swimsuit Round : Judges will be looking for body composition, tone, poise, and presentation. We are looking for healthy looking individuals that will represent our organization. Female contestants are required to wear a one-piece bathing suit. Male contestants are required to wear swimming trunks or speedos. All contestants should be barefooted or wear flip-flops. Absolutely no jewelry is permitted. Make sure the bathing suits cover up all private areas. Watch out for bathing suits with worn out elastic.
Interview Round : All contestants will be asked a question selected by the judges concerning health or fitness. Judges are looking for answers that are intelligent, articulate, and that have good voice projection.
Fitness Routine Round: The judges will look for routines that demonstrate flexibility, strength, and endurance moves. Contestants can do any activity that they have excelled in such as bodybuilding, martial arts, gymnastics, dance, aerobics, any fitness activity. Contestants should show personality. Contestants should only pick activities that they can do well. Hair should be away from face. Absolutely no jewelry is permitted. Routines should be a minimum of 1 minute and cannot exceed 1 ½ minutes in duration. Music must be professionally recorded for high quality audience reception.
TOP BOYS AND GIRLS FROM EACH COMPETITION WILL QUALIFY TO COMPETE AT THE FINALS IN NOVEMBER AT THE NATURAL UNIVERSE IN HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA. MAJOR MAGAZINE AND TELEVISION COVERAGE WILL BE THERE.
